Styling The Bandana Neck Scarf | WHAT I WORE

Hi Guyss,

bandana neck scarf

Happy New Month to you all. I have been out for a while now but not for too long 🙂

Low-key enjoyed all the fashion week snaps and pictures this past weekend as i struggled to read for my online exams that i had to take this past weekend also (since my school won’t let my actual break be a break)…thankfully i’m done with that but still, exam tomorrow so the struggle student life continues.

The featured picture for this outfit has been one of my most successful shots lmao . So many people (unexpected included) have all messaged me or commented on the picture of how beautiful it is (low-key shading all my other previous pictures but its alright). So I’m finally putting the post up, hope you like the rest of the pictures.

Thanks to my amazing photographer mom fudgefotoblog

Styling the Bandana Neck Scarf Trend

white lace jacket

The Bandana neck scarf has been around for a while now, since last year actually. It’s true — there are certain micro-trends that get less shiny as more people adopt them but not so with a bandana.

Not only is it a snip to buy, but you can transform a whole outfit with just this one bandana pick up.Whether you style it around your neck, your wrist, your head, damn your ankle too, this is the must-have accessory for the budget-conscious fashionista this season. There’s no wrong way to way it, just a ton of so right ways you can wear it.

Lets not forget my very sleek white lace jacket and that very easy to wear body-con dress.

bandana choker

Here, i wore mine as a Choker: Fold the scarf or bandanna into a triangle and continue folding until it forms one long strand. Wrap tightly around the neck and tie a tight double knot in the back and let the kerchief flow.

Here are a few tips on how to wear your bandana neck scarf:

1. As for the actual prints, paisley is usually the favourite but by no means the only option – check would be good.

2. Tuck it into your V-neck sweater or create a snug place at the top of a leather bomber.

3. Go for green or purple with a denim shirt or team a red bandana with military styling.

4. Use as an accessory on wrists and bags.

5. Brilliant for bad hair days and windy places, it’s a natural with ripped shorts and an oversized tee or a plaid shirt. Work it as a head band or with a retro bow.

6. Turn it into a belt. Twist into a turban, or tie at the nape of your neck and flaunt the kerchief forwards.

I promise my butt is somewhere in there lmao

I’ve really missed your outfit posts. I used to have quite a number of bandanas back in the days but I ended up gifting them away for reasons I can’t really recall. Anyway, I’m going to get me some of it once again and this time, I’m styling it in all the ways you’ve mentioned. I love your jacket and shoes though!

I’ve always wanted to do a bandana/neck scarf post but haven’t gotten the right push. This is really awesome especially how you didn’t tuck the ends in.

I think it’s weird that I always thought of bandannas as extra-large designed handkerchiefs. I smack myself for that. I have to try this.
