I WORE MY SILK PAJAMA ROBE AS OUTERWEAR

The Pajama Trend

Woke up, had a quick shower and slipped into my black tank dress trying to get ready for the day.

I decided i was going to go have coffee at the cafe near by but i felt like i still needed to sleep..

or maybe i just wasn’t ready to let go of the lazy bed feeling that comes from having a good sleep.

Grabbing my silk pajama robe solved the problem.

Now i’m awake, dressed, out in the sun along with my cozy bed feeling with me yet i still looked like i walked out of the runway.

I won.

I was going to say I’m late on the trend as it seems every blogger has put up a pajama outfit post on their blog but,  the good news is the trend is still very much alive so i might as well jump in on it real quick!

This pajama / sleepwear as outerwear is one trend that i’m wholeheartedly embracing because “Comfort, Lazy yet Lavish”, what more could one possibly ask for?

fashion blogger sleepwear trend

I have so many pajamas (thanks to my mother who is a pajama hoarder) that i don’t wear because i’m more of a go commando to sleep person so with this trend coming up, it’s like i have new clothes because guess who is going to be wearing pajamas outside – Me 🙂

how to wear the pajama trend

I feel the robes compared to the pajama sets are way easier to pull off – they look less draggy.

The pajama robes practically serve as a kimono so all you need do is throw it over jeans to add polish to a casual look, or pair it with a slip/tank dress like i have done here and you’re good to go.

I mostly love the white lace details on this silk robe, gives it a more luxurious look if i do say so myself.

You need to promise me that you won’t get tired of seeing these sneakers on the blog because apparently, that’s all i love to wear these days.

I promise you that i ironed this robe but apparently sleepwear should be rumpled from all the tossing and turning on the bed init? So i guess it rumpled itself up and here we are. -_-

Can i make a confession though?

I’m not really a tea person, never have been. I’ll much rather have a glass of juice or ice-cream. Don’t judge me

I love the trend but I’m a Lastma. Hopefully I get to try it before it becomes a last season look.

Silk just makes everything look good! I love that you went with a robe instead of the regular PJ pants or night dress.
